Can Avci
Sales and GTM for B2B SaaS.
Interested in:
- 0→1 GTM
- Positioning
- Pain- and time-based sales methodologies
I write about what I find fascinating about business and life.
Now
Last updated 15 May 2026.
- Focusing on the craft of sales and GTM with Claude Code. Treating it less like an assistant and more like an apprentice — building outbound, research, and discovery workflows from first principles instead of inheriting templates.
- Building agent workflows for pain-based segmentation and signals. Trying to make the boring half of outbound — account research, intent inference, signal stitching — something one AE can run at scale without losing the human pulse.
- Experimenting with low-carb + intermittent fasting. Pattern over goal: more energy across long sales days, less appetite for the things that put me to sleep at 3pm.
What I do
Sell B2B SaaS at TransferRoom, a data and marketplace platform for football clubs. Own net-new pipeline across emerging markets in CEE, MENA, and Africa.
Before that, I cofounded a compliance consultancy in Istanbul, and coordinated commercial cycles across the Turkish Süper Lig.
Currently also advising early-stage B2B founders on 0→1 GTM: ICP, messaging, list building, founder-led outbound, and sales-call coaching.
Curious about
- Low-carb diet
- Dopamine and brain health
- Complexity and systems
Projects
prospect-radar
Multi-agent system for B2B SaaS sellers with knowable TAMs. Watches the prospect universe for switching signals (M&A, jobs, reviews, LinkedIn pain) and market-specific depth signals (permit cycles, regulatory deadlines, transaction velocity), scores by Pain × Timing × Fit, and generates ready-to-send first-touch messages tied to the specific pain that surfaced. Open source. Canonical example: wunder-radar.vercel.app.
github.com/mcanavci/prospect-radar →SalesDrill (beta)
Web app for B2B SaaS reps and founders doing their own sales. Daily 5-minute drills on objection handling, discovery, and cold outreach — grounded in established methodology (Voss, Blount, Dixon, Hormozi, MEDDPICC), with every drill citing its source. Built on the premise that 87% of sales training is forgotten within 30 days; daily reps are how it sticks.
salesdrill.vercel.app →dopafit
Chrome extension. Mental fitness for your devices: classifies every site you visit into dopamine tiers (high, medium, positive) and writes a daily 0–100 score for where your day went. 100% local, open source.
Chrome Web Store →nomadistanbul
Content site for foreigners living in Istanbul. Honest guide to visa, banking, cost of living, neighborhoods, and coworking, for nomads, founders, and remote workers.

The perfect sale
Two recent purchases I made without hesitation, and what they taught me about timing and pain in sales.
